The Collector had grand plans for Boomtown but where is he now??

Since winning the election just a few months ago, The Collector had grand plans for Boomtown—but soon after his victory, he stepped into a portal and vanished without a trace. Before disappearing, he left behind a few cryptic keys and half-finished rituals, which the Guardians of Boomtown, desperate to continue his work, tried to interpret.

Despite calls for caution from The Collector's closest followers, they pressed on, increasing the frequency and intensity of their portal-opening attempts, hoping to deliver the better world.

One particularly spicy ritual, performed on All Hallow’s Eve, saw disaster strike for our fair city, as all of Boomtown swished and swirled down the plughole of existence.
Some of us have since been spat out, into a bizarre and terrifying realm.

For a start - it’s boiling hot down here, and as nice as it is to have a bit of warmth in the winter months, it’s also nice to have eyebrows - the flames licking the walls have burnt ours right off! All manner of monstrous creatures stalk the earth, called elrows.

They have not directly attacked yet, but we can feel them sizing us up with their numerous eyes. Since landing, we’ve located the Postal Posse, creatures from Botanica Zoo, and gogo dancers from Metropolis, we’re not sure where the rest of Boomtown is, if anywhere.

After assessing the situation, we’ve decided this place is not an improvement, and we really should be getting back home to Boomtown. Can the Guardians send us back through the portal, home to Boomtown? And where is The Collector when we need him? Guardians patrolling the area look busy, maybe they are working to release us… Only time will tell, if time even exists in this hellish dimension…
