The North London rapper cut his teeth back in the day as MC Castro Saint, an intriguing masked character that hovered in the background of the Tottenham Grime scene. There’s very little left on the internet of Castro Saint but it’s in the more recent project that really took the country by storm.

CAS has been taking the UK by storm since he re-emerged with the alias CASISDEAD. His debut album Famous Last Words sets him apart from his counterparts immersing his listeners in a dystopian world of crime, violence and regret. 

Featuring collaborations with Neil Tennant, Connie Constance, and others, the album explores loss and self-reflection through dark narratives set in the DEADCORP universe. 

He has even collaborated with the iconic sci-fi composer, Kyle Dixon who is famous for his nostalgia-rich soundtrack of Stranger Things. It’s a perfect collaboration for a lyricist 

who blends rap and sci-fi storytelling.

With cinematic soundscapes and a haunting atmosphere, CAS’s world-building and introspective lyrics uniquely portray a crumbling city. Famous Last Words is a haunting, vivid soundtrack to a world on the brink of collapse.
