A world of of rhythm and soul with Craig Charles

Whether you know him as the commentator of Robot Wars, from his appearance in Coronation Street or his Funk & Soul show on 6 Music there is no denying that Craig Charles is a masterful entertainer. 

He’s always been a big champion of Boomtown. You may have heard Boomtown’s head of programming James Cousins chatting to Craig on his 6 Music show last summer when we went head-to-head against Wilderness Festival  (listen back to find out who came out on top). 

Craig Charles has had a rich and diverse musical career for the best part of 40 years. He was signed to the record label  Acid Jazz and was renowned for his poetry and lyricism. Unsurprisingly, he has the music knowledge for his sets to keep people's feet moving on the dance floor.

With his smooth grooves and funky beats, Craig has been taking the music scene by storm, earning a reputation as one of the most exciting DJs in the business.
