Operating under the persona SICARIA, Lou Nour carries forward the legacy of her previous project, Sicaria Sound, marking her solo journey into electronic music. Born in London to Moroccan descent, SICARIA’s music roots trace back to her exposure to SWANA culture, blending sounds from Classical Arabic to Egyptian Shaabi and Moroccan Gnawa. Her passion for music grew in childhood, eventually leading to a career in electronic dance music. After co-hosting a radio show dedicated to amplifying women’s voices in dubstep, SICARIA became a global tastemaker, known for her dynamic DJ sets and her work with prominent platforms like Boiler Room and BBC Radio.
