Drainfly is an experimental rock band based in London, known for their haunting ambience, heavy distortions, industrial drums, and airy vocals. Their storytelling blends folklore with personal life experiences, blurring the lines between nature and modern life. Originally formed in Bristol in 2021 as 'Afraid of the Dark,' the band changed their name to Drainfly after moving to London, adding drummer Ashleigh Seager and bassist Samuel Black. Their ambient grunge sound has captivated audiences during moody performances at venues like Jaguar Shoes and Windmill Brixton.
