Dr Dubplate

Dr. Dubplate has been a fixture in the nightlife scene since age 15, starting with Midnight Drop at Ladbroke Grove. In 2020, he launched his record label, ec2a, revitalizing underground dance music with exclusive vinyl dubplates and USBs. Known for his PIFF events and label in Bristol, he built a reputation for genre-blending parties, collaborating with big names like Hot Since 82 and Roy Davis Jr. Rejecting the “clique mentality” of dance music, Dubplate now plays iconic venues worldwide, from Glastonbury to Warehouse Project, and holds a residency at Rinse FM, cementing his status as a club music pioneer.
