D.A.V.E. The Drummer, a key figure in the harder end of techno, emerged from the London illegal warehouse party scene of the 90s. As both a DJ and producer, he founded the Hydraulix label to release his unique blend of Acid and darker techno. Hydraulix quickly gained prominence in the 2000s and continues to dominate the Hard Techno charts, with new releases regularly reaching top spots on Beatport. Known for his stripped-back, darker sound, D.A.V.E. has worked with renowned labels like Stay Up Forever and Pounding Grooves, while still pushing fresh talent through his influential label.
