Alien Ant Farm
Alien Ant Farm, formed in Riverside, California, in 1996, blends nu-metal, post-grunge, and punk-pop, achieving mainstream success with their cover of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” in 2001. Their debut major-label album ANThology went platinum, and the band continued to release albums throughout the 2000s, despite lineup changes and personal struggles. Tragedy struck in 2002 when a bus accident injured the band and killed their driver. After a long hiatus, they returned in 2015 with Always and Forever. Their sixth album, Mantras, was released in 2024, featuring a cover of Wham!’s “Everything She Wants.”
